Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I am 14 years old almost 15 and I live in FL. I am in Highschool now but on September 11th I was in the 7th grade. September 11th 2001 I was sitting in my 3rd period class when our principle came on the intercom and said this: "Please excuse the interupption but if all the teachers would please turn your tv's on to channel 4...I have bad news...(his voice a little shaky)The World Trade Centers have been hit by airplanes...(at this everyone went quite, people started to cry)...if you would please take a moment and pray for the people that are trying to save everyone and especially the for the people in the Trade Centers." I was in complete and utter shock...I didn't know what to do or say...all I knew was that something bad happened...at the time I was 12 and didn't know what to do...but later that day when my mom had picked me up from school(around 12:00)she told me what happened and what the Trade Centers were...and that mostly all the people that were in the Trade Centers had died. I started to cry. Around 3:30 my best friend called me up crying hysterically...I asked her what was worng and she told me that her uncle called when the first Trade Center went down and he said that he was okay(he was in the 2nd trade center)but when the 2nd one went down they never got a call from him...while she was telling me this I started to cry. I prayed for so long for all those people that were in the Trade Centers. I used to fell like there was this big huge golden gate that secured all of america and no evil or harm could come in but since 911 I fell that those big huge gate doors have been opened. I still pray for all the men that are fighting for America and slowly those gate doors are closing. I know that someday everything will be fine and I hope that by the time my brother is 18 the war will be over because I love my brother too much for him to go away. I wish that I could tell every single person that helped on 911 and the ones that are fighting right now that I am so very thankful...I wish that I could tell that to George Bush too. Since 911 our nation has become more powerful and more like one again. Those doors will be closed soon and I will fell it when they finally are.
