Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I remember september 11th 2001 vividly..I was late for work...something very very rare...my daughter was late for a court appearance for parking in a handicapped parking place..(no other parking places were open!)..I left and had just got in my car when she called on my cell phone and said "mom..you have to come look at the tv"..so I ran back upstairs..when I saw the hole in the first tower hit ..I told her it was no accident..there is a no fly zone around those buildings..people just don't fly airplanes there...she said.."mom you don't know that for sure.." and at that moment the next plane hit..I remember saying "OH God..and Oh ....as I sat down..I had a terrible sinking feeling of doom in the pit of my stomach..I started shaking..I called my Husband at the time...He worked at a prison south of Houston..I told him to go in the break room and turn on the tv...I guess he could hear the panic in my voice..he immediately said ok and hung up..from then on..I remember telling Sarah..we are being attacked...why have they not grounded the planes..I stayed with her for a while but I had to leave and go to work..Our apartment complex was quiet..but on the freeway you could see people's expressions while driving..everything was in slow motion..people were on their cell phones..some pulled over...Sarah called me to tell me that the pentagon had been hit...I had to pull over then..I wept..I managed to go on to work..also..the day went on..we watched the towers fall..it was so sad..I spoke with all my family members including my older daughter in Shreveport La..where Bush flew into at Barksdale..they saw airforce one being escorted in by military jets. Later that day..our neighbors who were muslim..closed all their blinds...would not look you in the eye...they were just as afraid as we were of the change that took place that day.. ..There was a definate paradigm shift that day..all in one day..less than 6 hours it took..the world is different..and we cannot forget why...We must all be prepared for another attack..our enemy is still out there...and they want to destroy us..they will not stop till we are all dead or in submission...we must take the fight to them..and honor our dead with their defeat!!!
