Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My birthday is on Sep.11 so it's a difficult day to celebrate. In the morning, I was jumping around and dancing and celebrating my birthday. I then turned on the radio and it was playing my favorite song. Right in the middle, they announced that the WTC were hit and all of New York was in a state of panic. The station usually joked around a lot, so I thought that it was another one of their pranks. So, to make sure, I ran into my moms room in which she was getting ready. She immediatly started screaming and running around frantically. We ran into the TV room and turned to CNN. The minute we turned it on, we saw the second plane hit. My mom and I started crying and calling loved ones. Later, I found out that my aunt who is a flight attendant for American Airlines, was scheduled for the flight out of Boston. Instead, she traded with a friend who took the flight instead.
