Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I HAD JUST RETURNED FROM DROPPING MY CHILDREN OFF AT SCHOOL. WHEN I SAT DOWN TO WATCH THE NEWS LIKE I DID EVERY MORNING. AS I FLIPED THROUGH THE CHANELS I CROSSED CNN AND ALMOST FELL OFF THE COUCH WHEN I SAW THE FIRST TOWER IN FLAMES, I IMEDIATLY THOUGHT OF MY CHILDREN AND MY HUSBAND WHO BOTH WERE ABOUT 15 MILES AWAY. I JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES AND THEN AS THE SECOND TOWER WAS HIT I BURST INTO TEARS IT WAS THEN THAT I KNEW THAT THIS WASNT JUST AN ACCIDENT. I STILL CANT BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE THAT BRAVE (STUPID) TO ATTACK US AND NOT THINK WE WOULD HUNT THEM DOWN!! AS A FIREFIGHTER AS WELL AS A SPOUSE OF A FIREFIGHTER IT WAS IN GREAT GRIEF THAT I WATCHED THE BUILDINGS COLAPSE AND WITH GREAT SORROW BEGAN PRAYING FOR THE MISSING AND LOST AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE FAMILIES LEFT HOLDING THERE BREATH JUST WAITING FOR AN ANSWER. WELL I WOULD LIKE TO CLOSE BY SAYING THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY WHO CAME TO STAND BEHIND ALL THOSE WHO NEEDED YOU MOST. IT IS WITH SUCH GREAT HONOR THAT I PROUDLY DISPLAY ME FLAG AND HOLD MY HEAD HIGH TO BE PART OF SUCH A GREAT BROTHERHOOD!!
