Tell us your story: Traveling on interstate 40 to Durham NC going through Greensboro and Burlington NC.I was listening to the radio when the news broke.The DJ'S reported a plane had hit the World Tade Center.I had thought a small plane had hit the building. Then what seemed like a few minutes later,the second plane hit. I was shaken,Knowing this was no accident.Then hearing a plane had hit the pentagon, with the possibility of more planes targeted at other sites.That was somewhat correct. that plane went down in PA.I worked the rest of the day listening to the radio when I could. Trying to call my family in NJ,and not being able to get through made me feel uneasy.I knew they should have been OK. That evening I rushed home to catch the news,which we get out of NY via sattelite dish. I was Angered by what I had seen,Saddened by the lives that were lost,and the peoples Whos lives would be forever changed.Sept 11 2001 Changed my life. It has taken me some time to put things in perspective. But I will never understand.
