Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was in 8th grade at the time of the September 11th attacks. I was in my technology class about to go to my next period. Right before we left the teacher from next door came in and told our teacher that he talked to his wife and that the Twin Towers were hit in New York City. At the time I didn't really understand the importance of this. I just thought an airplance accidentally hit a tower. I had no information on it at all. But the next period our principal came over the intercom and told us what happened and also told us how another plane hit the Pentagon. A lot of people in my class were worried about their parents and trying to use teachers phones to find out about them. By the end of the day I knew what was going on and was affected by it, but it made me realize how important it is to live in our country with the freedoms that we have. It was also a time that made people really depend on God. The day made people realize how much more there is to life than material objects and how we are not invincible....God Bless America.
