Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The Tuesday morning of September 11th I left for school with my daughter who was just a little over a year old. I was thinking of the same thing I had been for about 4 months and that was of my boyfriend who was away at AIT for the Reserves. He hadn't yet been back home to see his new daughter and I couldn't wait till the day I got to see him. I had class at the daycare where my daughter goes and was upstairs when the first attact happened. We went down for lab class to be with the babies and that is hwen the teacher to me, in very sketchy details, what had just happened. at first I thought they were refuring to the Capital building in Kansas. It seem that the broadcast on the radio didn't tell much of what was going on. After about a min. of confusion we all started to begin to understand the initial information of the first attact. I remember sitting there holding my new born baby and hearing all of these rumors on the radio of coming attackes and countless ,presumed, high jacked planes. When the time came to walk back to the school for my last class of the day, I only went for mornings, I walked numbly into the building and through the halls. Ever door I passed was relaying the scenes of the attack on a TV. This was the first time I had a chance to see the images. I had to walk up two flights of stairs and I seemed to fly up them. As I came to my class everyone was perched atop a desk, face glued to the screen. I remember thinking " Where is the teacher? " he appeared a while later and quickly got a call on his cell phone. He spoke very hurridly and told me only he was leaving. I remember right after that, that he was in the air force for reserves.When the bell rang for class to dismiss I practically ran down the stairs and next door for my daughter. I picked her up and drove home. When I got there I turned on CNN and sat glued to the TV for what seemed like an eternity. I just sat in the rocked with the baby and let her sleep. I became addicted for next week. The ironic thing was I got my first real car that night and, as luck would have it, have had nothing but problems.I did get a call from the dad 3 days later.
