Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was taking training at the time when the episode happened. At that point in time I was working as a Contractor for Lockheed-Martin, Inc. when I heard the news. Approximately 9:30 AM that morning was when we were given the official word that the United States Government was shutdown...and that as I proceeded across the 14th street bridge, I picked up a "scab" that needed a ride back to the town I live in. As I drove South, there was a potent rubber smell as I glanced right to see the Pentagon, partially engulfed in smoke. Little did I know that my Step-Daughter's grandmother, Rosemary Chapa, worked there that it would be her last day of life. There has been a great loss in the extinguishment of her life, at least to my step-daughter...Jennifer. It has been increasing difficult in raising a Step-Daughter, due to mostly a suicide pilot, having nothing better to do than to take Human lives...whose job it is to keep the peace in this world.
