Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was sleeping. My husband called me. He told me to turn on the tv. When I turned it on I saw the first trade center. smoke filled the air. I had no words to describe my feelings. Mostly I was sad. Then I witnessed the second plane hitting. I suddenly became terrifed,realizing this was no accident.I called my mother she still resides in N.Y. When I found out what had happend and who could be responsible I was furious. I couldn't believe anyone could hate us that much. I mean I always thought out of all the countries you could live in the usa was the best. You were allowed to dream and no matter what position in society you are you can always overcome it as long as you tried hard and knew what you wanted. Now a year later I feel more sadness than I did that day. I think about all the people in other countries who are not as fortunate as i am. As I was growing up. I always had hope for my future. Many people don't even have that. I think I have grown as a person since last september. I jusy want to leave by saying. Life is verrry short. Stop and say hi to your neighbor. Smile, you never know you just might make someones day. And always have patience, you know not what they have been through.
