Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I have already sent in where I was and what I did that day but, I have to write this now. Last night September 11,2006 I was watching tv and there was a documentry on 9-11 before I knew it I couldn't leave the room afraid I would miss something. We all know there were jumpers and felt the horror of that. Last night I heard the crashes for myself and never will be the same. I will carry that sound deep in my soul until I go on after life. I am one who gets angry that the victims seem to be lumped all together. It's the WTC story and the people that were lost. Like all souls were one. They all had a life and story, when I heard the crashes of bodies hitting the ground that day it only reinforced what I felt. If everyone heard that sound if they heard it as I did one after another it wouldn't be just "victims" we would think of one more life lost and a horrible end of their lives.I didn't know names I'm sure no one does but, I didn't have to,they made their impression on me. I haven't forgotten all the others, lives lost in fire and smoke. Some just gone when the plane hit. Some from wounds,some burned,some from the sheer shock of it. I see the hero's that day the police,fire fighters,port authority,emts,clergy and anyone just trying to help because it was something they felt they had to do................I think of the souls on the air planes that day and what they might have felt because no one could ever know those stories. I remember the "hero's"on flight 93 and what they did, the lives they saved in giving theirs. My life is forever changed,life is so precious and should never taken advantage of.I see,really see the people I pass aand look deeply to their eyes now,imprinting those eyes because they are my brothers and sisters, we all are family. I see now where I never saw before. This is only a tiny piece of what I feel,how can all that were changed on that day put into words what they thought and how they felt? Now, I pray for every soul and I feel closer and know I will never forget them or any other soul that ever gave their life so I could be free.
