Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LEAVING EAGLE'S TRANSPORT, HE WAS APPLYING FOR A JOB. WE WERE IN THE CAR HEADING SOUTH TO HAVE BREAKFAST AT A RESTAURANT, WE WERE TRYING TO DECIDE ON WHAT RESTAURANT TO GO TO, WE WERE LISTENING TO THE FRANK SKIE MORNING SHOW ON V103 WHEN THE NEWS FLASH CAME ACROSS THE RADIO. A FEELING THAT I CAN NOT EXPLAIN WENT THROUGH MY WHOLE BODY. FOOD WAS THE FURTHEREST THING FROM MY MIND, I WAS SPEECHLESS. I LOOKED AT WINSTON AND HE LOOKED AT ME WE COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT WE WERE HEARING, WE LISTENED INTENSELY TO THE GRAFIC DETAILS AND DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO GET OF THE HIGHWAY AND GO BACK HOME TO THE COMFORT OF OUR HOUSE. WE WERE IN SHOCK AND WANTED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AT THE TWIN TOWERS FROM THE T.V., ONCE AT HOME EVERY CHANNEL ON T.V. WAS SHOWING THE PLANE THAT WAS STUCK IN THE FIRST TOWER. THEN THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPEN A PLANE WENT THROUGH THE SECOND TOWER, IT FELT LIKE SOMEONE HAND KNOCK THE WIND OUT OF ME. AFTER THE SHOCK PASSED OVER ME I REMEMBERED THAT MY BROTHER RESIDES IN NEW JERSEY AND THAT HE LOVES MANHATTAN AND WAS ALWAYS IN THAT AREA. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED HIM ON HIS CELL PHONE, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT HE WAS IN THE AREA AND SAW THE WHOLE NIGHTMARE. I BEGGED HIM TO LEAVE AND TO GO AS FAR FROM THE SCENE AS POSSIBLE, HE AGREED AND SAID THAT HE WOULD CONTACT ME AS SOON AS HE WAS IN A SAFE AREA. WINSTON AND I BECAN TO THINK ABOUT THE KIDS, THEY WERE AT SCHOOL, HE WANTED TO GO AND PICK THE KIDS UP, I TOLD HIM THAT ALL THE OTHER PARENTS WOULD WANT TO DO THE SAME THING AND THAT IT WOULD BE BEST TO LET THE KIDS STAY AT SCHOOL. I FELT THAT THE TEACHERS AND COUNSELORS WOULD BE BETTER LETTING THE KIDS KNOW ABOUT THE TRAGEDY. OUR KIDS FALASIA, CORY AND CLEOPATRA GOT HOME SAFE AT THEIR USUAL TIMES. MY BROTHER LINWOOD CALLED ABOUT 8P.M. TO LET ME KNOW THAT HE ARRIVE HOME SAFE. LATER THAT NIGHT AT ABOUT 1A.M. THE PHONE WRANG, IT WAS MY OLDER SISTER SHARON CALLING FROM FLORIDA TO LET ME KNOW THAT MY FAVORITE SISTER AND BEST FRIEND HILARY HAD PASSED AWAY EARLY THAT DAY. SHE DIED OF HEART COMPLICATIONS FOM A PREEXISTING CONDITION, HILARY LIVED IN THE BAHAMAS. SO YOU SEE EVERY TIME THEY SHOWED THE TRAGEDY ON T.V. I THOUGHT ABOUT MY SISTER AND HOW I NEVER GOT TO SAY GOODBYE. I DON'T TALK ABOUT SEPTEMBER 11 TOO MUCH BECAUSE IT NOT ONLY REMINDS ME OF THE DISASTER AT THE TWIN TOWERS, BUT IT ALSO REMINDS ME OF MY BEST PAL WHO I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER.
