I woke up like any other school day, ate breakfast, and went to class. My first class was at 8:00 am. After this class I started on a walk towards my 9:30 am class. This is where I started hearing bits and pieces. I had no idea of what had just happened, nor did I realize severity of it. By the time a made it to my class I had an idea that some terrerists had done something to the U.S.A. In class the professor had a t.v. and explained what was going on. That The New York trade building had been attacked by terrerists and had collapsed. This seemed impossible inconceivable the U.S.A. is thought to be indistructable- "the super power". How did this happen to the U.S.A.
After explaining it all and watching the news on T.V. the entire class period some of my friends and I went back to my room and keep watching to news. This was the talk of campus, the only talk. The school gave uf the rest of the day off. That day everyone had millions of questions. What is this going to do to our trade, stock markets? How is this going to affect us right away? What should we do? No on had the answers. It was an unsure time. For weeks it seemed to be the main topic of conversations. I still watched the news for updates and discussed it with others who were doing the same. 9/11 is the fisrt major historical even in my life-time. It is one that I will talk to my kids and grand kids about.It is a time to be remembered, yet a time everyone would like to be able to forget. God help us all!!
