Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was 9mos. Pregnant with my daughter who will be one on Oct.5th. My son woke up and wanted a drink. I went into the kitchen. My husband called me and said that a terrible movie was on all the channels, we then together realized that it was not a movie but live news. Just as we were about to sit down and change the channel the 2nd plane hit tower 2. We were at this point trying to call our family in New York. I have a cousin who works for transit there. He had just left Church Street only 5 minutes before the first plane hit Tower one. I Immediatley began to cry. The not knowing. For hours my husband tried to comfort me until we got through at around 5pm. Talking to him I was relieved and wanted terribly to see him but like most americans I was afraid. Only In March I took a flight from Charlotte to San Diego to see My Father. I showed the terrorist that I am not afraid and will continue to fly. That flight to San Diego was important. It was the first time my kids got to see their Grandfather. I pray that it will not be the last. My children who are now 2 yrs (my son) and 1 yr (my Daughter) will always remember what happend in New York on that day.
