Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was a Police chief Superintendent in Sussex Police,England who had previously served in the British army. One of my Inspectors interupted a meeting to say "a plane has crashed in america" My first thought was so what? but it became clear that this was something that would change all our lives. I served in Northern Ireland in the army and I knew the horror of terrorist bombs. I had lost friends and been with families who had lost loved love ones. My imotions were mixed, I cried with compasion for those that had died and the families that remained. The thought that we could be next was in my mind butI had no doubts that what the american and british governments were doing was correct. In the back of my mind was the thought that America had supported terrorism in my country for decades, the IRA had killed some of my friends and I was present when the bomb went off at the Grand Hotel in Brighton, all funded by Americans. What goes around comes around and may be just may be America got what it deaserved.
