GLBT are American citizens just like heterosexuals- one of the pilots flying the doomed jet that crashed into the Pentagon was a gay man. His surviving partner should not be denied benefits based upon his sexual orientation. To deny GLBT of these benefits would go against the sense of unity that has overcome this nation since the attacks. To hear the words of , , and just made my heart ache....
