Saturday, March 16, 2002 4:39 PM 9/11 Benefits To whom it may concern, I have just been made aware that citizens who lost their same sex partner in the horrific 9/11 events will not be receiving the same benefits as those who lost their "heterosexual" partner on that horrific day. As an American, this concerns me. We have unborn fetuses and illegal aliens receiving more compensation from the fund than two same sex people who promised their lives to each other. I believe all who lost loved ones should be compensated, and it absolutely stuns me that you would intentionally exclude a group of people. It's not for you or anyone else to judge whether the "heterosexual" partner who died is a greater loss than the "homosexual" who lost their partner. Please reconsider for the benefit of all Americans. We all live here, we all pay our taxes, and we all love America regardless of Race, Creed, or Sexual Orientation.
