Friday, January 25, 2002 3:21 PM Support For Current Rules Regarding Compensation Dear Sir/Madem, I want to express my support for the rules regarding disbursement of money for the families effected by the attack. It is my opinion that these families were neglegent in their financial planning and it is not the role of the federal government to maintain their lifestyle. If they are not recieving any money from the federal government, they were most likely living at least a middle class lifestyle and certainly could have afforded a couple hundred dollars a year for more life insurance. Instead, they chose to spend their money on other things. There are federal programs available to help them with housing and food. These people will not end up hungry and homeless.
