We have until April 15,2002 to post our comments and views on the Victim Compensation Fund and its denial of benefits to Gay and Lesbian Survivors. As a Ph.D. level psychologist working in the area of trauma, survivors and gay/lesbian issues as well as general practice and substance abuse, I want to add my voice to those endorsing compensation to victims of our nations worst domestice act of terrorism no matter what their religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or other extraneous considerations. Let us put our humanity first and our individual beliefs far down the line when working with this level of human tragedy. Do not let the enemy win by sparking divisions in the American people.
