Have we learned nothing from this event about what is important and what is not? Would this not be the ideal time to take advantage of minds opening to the importance of human decency and a recognition of what is worth opposing? And what greater insult can we offer our fellow americans who happen to love people of the same sex who have been equally devastated by this terrible tragedy.
