Thursday, January 31, 2002 5:01 PM PLEASE CONSIDER STRUCTURED SETTLEMENTS Reasons: 1. Payments are made over a period of time and designed to come at times when people need them - college funds, etc. 2. History has shown that people are given large amounts of money they spend it all within five years -- nothing would then be left for children and they would be looking at airlines and government to collect more later. 3. We are in the DC area and can meet with families who were affected by the Pentagon disaster and let them know how structured settlement payments work. 4. It would save the fund benefits because money would not need to be paid now, but could be paid monthly, etc. There are many other benefits and ways to help families and the fund using structured settlement annuities. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with anyone who is interested in exploring this option for these families or sending materials to anyone who is intersted in considering this option. All the travel we do is at our own expense and the fund does not pay us anything. If a structure is done we are paid by the insurance company. Both the fund and the families should benefit from this financial tool.
