Does this mean all of the radio & television cover with the President espousing compassion & patriotism & affection for those who died - all propaganda.... Whether gays & lesbians are legally seen as married or not - is one issue - whether their surviving mate is left penniless because they were the caregiver of children - or unable to work - or supported by their mate or whatever reason.... They are not any less an American, any les a human - suffering a profound loss - nor any less a victim of terrorism.. I urge you to drop the politics & react as a human to the tragedy & allow gay couples the same relief as any other couple..... American couple... Gay straight, Black white, Muslim, Christian, Jewish..... All Americans were hurt.... All Americans.
