Exclusion of gays in 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund
To whom it may concern:
I find it reprehensible that partners of gay victims of the 9/11 attacks will not be compensated by the Victim Compensation Fund. Insofar as the families of illegal aliens are included in the Fund's beneficiaries, then the argument given by Mr. Feinberg that state law is the obstacle to gay partners receiving benefits is completely baseless. Discrimination can be the only explanation. It is a disgrace and an insult to the American people.
Please reconsider your position, and offer gay partners of 9/11 victims the compensation they deserve. Thank you.
