My mother was travelling on an international itenerary (which means she was covered by the IATA agreement) and if President Bush had not retrospectively changes the law, we would have received about 5 times the payment we could get from the fund. We would be far better off if this fund was never created. Why should American Airlines be given close to a billion dollars and we get a couple of hundred thousand ?
