Gentlemen, can you explain why the Government is preparing to provide benefits to the survivors of WTC disaster when there is allegedly over a billion Dollars in donations sitting out there with no supervision or control. Would it not be more useful and practical to have government control of these funds so that they can be disbursed to the proper parties, as was intended by the contributors. It seems reasonable to assume that if the Govt provides funds the donations from the public will disappear which is apparently happening at this time since it appears that the charities have not disbursed or accounted for as yet. I understand that Red Cross will only use 20% of the funds donated for WTC benefits. Why??? If the Govt establishes another fund they and every other charity can renege on their obligations and all the monies donated by the public will somehow evaporate. ---PLEASE no govt plan--Force the charities to make the proper use of the billions donated.
