Our sons, our daughters, our mothers, our fathers, our lovers--all are missed with a grief as profound as any other bereaved family. All were depended upon to support their children or their parents, to string up Christmas lights, to sing in church, to light the Hanukkah candles, to help us laugh at the end of a long hard day, to cook dinners, or bring home the groceries or even to save other lives in their work as fire or police personnel.
