I'm a heterosexual who never voted for Bush but had BEGUN to appreciate his leadership through the crisis brought on by 911 and might have considered supporting him in the future. Any respect I had for the president or his administration, however, has dwindled thanks to his disregard for the environment and the continuing discrimination against fellow human beings simply because they have different sexual preferences. I'm embarassed and sad to have this administration running a country they CLAIM protects the freedoms and rights of individuals and as for the 911 fund and United Way - you can forget about receiving donations from me or my family or the many friends I'm sharing this in the future.
