Alls fair in love and...

To whom it may concern,
Can you please explain to me why everyone except gay
partners of the victims of September 11th are eligible for
compensation? Even a fetus, who legally has no rights? Even
an illegal alien, who legally has no rights in this country;
who the government is willing to set aside any law mandating
that they be deported and give them money?
I am outraged that the government is willing to set
aside any laws to help these people, and yet is willing to
exclude gays and lesbians from automatically receiving the
same benefits as their heterosexual counterparts.
As an American citizen I demand that you stop
discriminating against gays and lesbians, and treat them at
least as well as you are treating others.
