I would like to address a few key points regarding the Victims Compensation Fund: 1) NO cap on benefits. 2) Life insurance should NOT be deducted from benefit. 3) Similarly, 401K's and IRA's ( and charitable contributions for that matter) should NOT be deducted. 4) We need to know up-front a base amount to calculate benefit before we waive rights to other options. 5) We need to know the timing of hearings due to my sister's pregnancy(Matthew's widow).
