I have been reading all of the regulalations and it seems to me that fiancees are not being recognized at all in this matter. In there are alone 38 fiancees. I feel that this is extremely unfair. We were the ones that these men chose to spend the rest of their lives with. In my particular situation, and I moved to a new apartment that is double the rent I was paying before we moved in. I must explain to you that I am not writing to you to ask that I become rich in this whole ordeal. I would like to pay my rent, perhaps go back to school and rebuild my future. In the regulations it is stated that one person per family submit a claim form.However, for each family that had fiancess, you are really talking about two families, not one. had his mother and in no way would I ever want to take away from her. I just don't understand how we are not being recognized in this. All of us young women need to rebuild our lives. Out entire future has been robbed from us. Please make this a just situation. The charities, like Red Cross, have recognized us as "domestic partners" and as well has recognized us as two families. Why cant the gov't recognize us as how are loved ones recognized us. was my whole life and like these other fiancee, we feel that by not recognizing us, you are not recognizing our mens last wishes.
