                <text>Representing more than 220,000 workers, 1199SEIU is the largest union of healthcare employees in New York State.  Members of 1199 were among those involved in the earliest relief efforts following the attack. This collection includes articles and photos published in the October, November and December, 2001 and April, 2002 issues of the1199 News. All articles were written by staff writer Patricia Kenney and editor J.J. Johnson. It also includes additional photographs contributed by 1199 News photographers Jim Tynan and Belinda Gallegos.</text>
