Love is love & should not be determined by what the majority feels it should entail. My relationship with my partner is just as real & committed as a heterosexual couples. In fact, I know more gay couples that are staying together than I do heterosexuals nowadays. I pay taxes & feel the same emotions as my heterosexual neighbors. Why should my relationship be discounted? The divorce rate among heteros is at 50%-and you justify that by giving their loved ones compensation? That is so unfair.
