He and his ideals - if you could call them that - are from a portion of the United States that is about as foreign to the Northeast as is Pakistan. His treatment of same sex unions under the VCF is truly sad. I am sure he means well - but his ignorance is hurting devestated families all over again. Perhaps even worse - he is an embarrassment to himself and to America at a time when we are in dire need of compassion and unity within our borders. Who does he think he represents? Think about it: The President was elected by a mysterious minority and appointed an Attorney General that couldn't beat a dead man in his own part of the country. What makes these two knuckleheads think they know what they are talking about? Why can't we call a spade a spade? Ashcroft is a primitive man who is good at locking Al Qaedeans up on islands, and bad at taking care of Americans...what a shame, shame, shame! God Bless the victims and their loved ones.
