I am ashamed of my country. People who were affected by 9/11 who are gay and/with families who are American citizens should be treated better than illegal aliens. Gay victims and their families are people plain and simple and should be treated no better or no less than a straight 9/11 victims and their families. What ever happened to the constitution and "All men are created equal"? We need to focus on equitable treatment and not create a scenario of dissention. We need to show the world we treat our citizens equally. We need to show the world that we do not treat gay people like the Taliban treated women. Please change your policy and Do The Right Thing.
