Discrimination against gay Americans

Dear 9/11 fund:

I believe it is outrageous for the 9/11 fund to exclude gay partners from receiving benefits related to this disaster. The fund's administrators have agreed to provide benefits for fetuses, illegal aliens, and others who might not ordinarily be considered. Why then are gays being excluded from this outpouring of American fealty and generosity? Did &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp , &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp , and &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp sacrifice their lives, only to be rewarded with such small-minded hatred? The terrorists who attacked the United States of America on September 11 were not only attempting to destroy our property and murder our citizens, but also to sew fear, hatred, and mistrust among us. We must not allow them to succeed.

I respectfully urge the fund's administrators to reconsider this action.
