If homosexuals can save lives, if homosexuals can be heroes, and if homosexuals can donate millions to the fund, why can't they get relief? Especially if illegal aliens can??? This is the chance for the federal government to finally stand up and make a difference and change the way this nation treats its gays once and for all. If the government says: "yes, we WILL recognize homosexuals as citizens, patriots and heros for this country, yes we will not DENY them the aide that all heterosexuals are being openly encouraged to partake in, yes, we will do it with full confidence that THIS IS THE AMERICAN WAY," then maybe this country can step into the 21st century, and start living up to the ideals that it was founded on, and that brought billions upon billions to these shores over the last 250 years in search for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is time we stop DISCRIMINATING against ANY of our legal citizens for any reason whatsoever--whether it be for race, religion, political perscription, or sexual orientation. This is not TWO SOCIETIES. This is not TWO countries. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, one nation, indivisible, with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!!! Lets start acting like it!
