Monday, January 28, 2002 2:50 PM victim compensation my name is &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp from houston texas and i want to say that i think if somebody had the forethought and discipline to go out and get their own supplemental life insurance , it should not be duducted from their settlement. this country has had enough proliferation of social and economic subsidy of those personally irresponsible. its not the time to punish those who have stood on their own two feet and looked out for their own futures. life insurance is an income sacrifice every month for those who pay for it. those people should not be penalized for this. i firmly am against this deduction from these peoples settlements who deserve all they are entitled to and should not be punished for their discipline and foresight. rather they should be rewarded!!!
