Now I understand that the victim compensation fund proposal will penalize those who were responsible enough to have paid for private life insurance. The current proposal does not give them their equal share of this fund. These loving families have already suffered enough through their loss of a loved one that to now pass this unethical ruling would be to create a further tragedy. The logic behind this proposal is unjust to these insured victims families. It doesn?t take a brain surgeon to figure out the correct mathematical equation for this. Both the governments pending ruling and the separate charity donation groups should be working from this same logical equation. Just incase someone has forgot what that should be, I?ll repeat it for those who have forgot how to have a clear moral thought. Since all the people who died left equally valued loved ones, whether they were a dishwasher, a CEO, a tourist or victims travelling aboard the planes, here is the formula. Take the total amount of dead people (less the terrorists?currently around 2,894) divide it by the amount of money in the fund and it will equal what each and every victim?s family should get. If they had extra insurance as a responsible person that should be not considered at all, as that is a totally separate issue. After all the government wasn?t paying their life insurance premiums were they? Probably the saddest thing of all is that my sister in?law was told by the port authorities of New York that it was safe for her to return to her office. , and those that went back with her all died in the tragedy. She was above the impact point of the crash and probably suffered considerably before falling to her death. She leaves a loving husband and a 4 year old daughter. I urge you to reconsider this proposal to include equal compensation to all regardless of the private insurance issue, which should be treated totally separate. After all, these people were only acting responsible to have purchased life insurance in the first place, they should not bec ome further victims because of it!
