Thursday, December 20, 2001 7:34 PM Victims Compensation Fund To whom it may concern, I just finished reading the article on whom and how funds will be distributed. I have to say that I am OUTRAGGED at the fact that a comment was said that same-sex partners may or may not be eligible for compensation depending on the laws of their state. Regardless of ones sexual preference they too lost a mate/spouse and some left children behind. Ones sexual preference does not deem the value of their life or how they chose to live it. Innocent lives were lost and families forever changed and this will only add to additional heartache to a family who is trying to make peace out of a horrible situation. My heart goes out to those who have been affected by this and can only hope that state or government does not stand in the way of these people who would like to just get closure and restitution in these events.
