September 11 Compensation Fund
I strongly encourage that the compensation fund be extended to families and
de facto children of gay and lesbian victims. It is a tragedy that in this
great time of need, and supposed "unity", that our country's leaders would
further divide the individuals residing in our country who are/were
productive citizens by denying compensation to all the human beings affected
by this act of terrorism. The families of gay and lesbian victims are being
further traumatized by having to fight for compensation which should
rightfully be theirs.
