Hi Everyone, Even though I too was on a flight bound for LAX on 9/11...I am alive and well. (:-) I was on my way to a meeting in MSP when the captain informed us of what had just happened in NYC. My flight was a 757 which left Boston at 7:50am. AA was also a 757 which left Boston at 7:52am, UAL also was a 757 which left Boston at 8:14. THE ONLY difference was that my flight was making a stop in MSP and did not have as much fuel as the other planes. We made a very quick landing in Saginaw, MI and there I stayed for the next three days. When it was determined that Boston may be closed for several days, I along with three other managers rented a car and drove 18 hours nonstop to get back home. Today however, I will be returning to NYC to assist both LGA and JFK airports with "Stress Management" for the Flight Crews." (I know....I WILL BE HELPING THEM.) (:-) With that said....I do not know if I will be gone for two days, or two weeks, so please take care, and if you have any questions....please feel free to call Maureen.
