Hello mom, Yes, I am getting emails whenever I have a chance to check it. We are still steaming the ocean with the occasional port stop in some country. Currently, we are just waiting for the "word." If things keep going like this, there is no reason why I won't be home in January. I guess this war on terrorism is going to be a long - drawn out process. Coming soon here (December 10th), I will be getting promoted to 1st Lieutenant. I am pretty excited about that, since I will loose the "butter bars" and gain a bit more prestige. I know that keep saying that I am getting out as soon as my contract ends, but I am thinking more and more that Force Recon is where I should be. The spots are competitive, but I will have some pretty good reccomendations coming my way. After working with that community, I sincerely believe that they are the best at what they do.
