Tell us your story: At approximately 8AM I dropped my husband off on Church Street, one block North of the Number one tower and proceeded to drive to work in Long Island City. I had CBS radio on and Harry Harrison announced that there was smoke coming from one of the WTC towers, it seemed a plane had hit it. I arrived at work about five minutes after his announcement somewhere around 9AM. Everyone was looking at the first Tower we could see the smoke from our office then someone called and said it wasn't an accident another plane had just hit the other WTC Tower. We were all in shock and I couldn't reach my husband. I was the only one in the office with someone near the Towers. We closed the office and I was getting ready to drive back to Brooklyn at about 10AM when someone ran out of the office and stopped me to tell me my husband was home and safe, he had walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.
