The father was at work in his building which is directly across the street from where the plane hit the pentagon. While he was on the phone with his wife the plane hit and shook his building, though he was unhurt. He is still attempting to get home. Mary Louise (the mother) also has a nephew who was on the 51st floor of the first World Trade Center tower when it was struck. He was in a conference at the time, and the leader of the conference had been in the building during the 1993 bombing. He told the group that it felt the same as the 93 bombing and that everyone should leave immediately. Within 5 minutes the nephew was out of the building, and was outside as the second plane hit.
