As of this writing individuals have submitted more than 1,500 correspondences. September 11 Email September 11 Email: Body The basic content, as unstructured text; sometimes containing a signature block at the end. As a matter of interest, I was in the Pentagon this morning when the terrorist flew the airplane into it. I was in the C ring toward the middle of the building. I heard nothing and felt nothing but we were immediately alerted to leave the building which I did with 20,000 + others. I never knew what the deal was until I exited the building and saw the black smoke looming over the building. Then I walked toward the west side and clearly saw the bombed area, etc. Then I left, on foot, to Fort Myer to get my parked car and came home. Reason I was in the Pentagon was because I have a part-time job as a "military site representative" with George Mason University, a large university here in Fairfax, Virginia where Ann also works and where she is working on her Doctorate. I work in the Pentagon on Monday and Tuesday each week and help advise military people on their quest for more and higher education. Anyway, I survived and I can always say "I was there!"
