I woke up and turned on the tv and oh my god - I hope you are
ok...

AJ:
!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU OK?
                    09/11/01 12:07 PM

MM:

I'm a little shell shocked. Hundreds of people are just on the
streets.
I'm thinking about donating blood and getting some provisions -
water,
food, batteries. We've been told to leave but we're just
frozen, sitting
here wandering what the hell to do next. At least the computers
and phones
lines are still up, but not in our homes. I'm just afraid that
this isn't
over for today.

AJ:

I'm at work now. You know the whole complex is gone? And that
the
pentagon was hit? There was a plane in Philadelphia as well.
The city is
so quiet. I think we are closing early today. And I think this
means war
as well. The towers collapsing (I saw it this morning) was the
most
horrific thing I have ever ever seen - crying and Michael didn't
want me to
go to work. Are you ok? Are you shut up in the building right
now? How
are you handling this?

 Hey,
I'm fine, but you can see the fire from almost anywhere below
14th St. and
where I work. People on the streets are crying and in
disbelief. Some
friends can see a huge hole in one of the towers where a
missile hit it.
And the South Tower collapsed into another building. Whoever
was in these
buildings are dead. They're evacuating all the courts and
buildings so
everyone is wandering the streets for safety. All bridges,
tunnels and
any line of transportation are shut down. This is crazy. I
think we're at
 war.
