<text>Thanks for getting back to me rose. It:s about 2am here and the English coverage stopped before 1. i have seen some peter jennings clips but it:s hard to lip read from him when he is covering his mouth. This isn:t the email that I wanted to send to you eitehr but this is the first time I have been able to use my host family:s computer since it is all in japanese and is so expensive to use the internet. I am checking my cell phone every few minutes to hear from you.

pittsburgh has only been mentioned a few times. I have seen the coverage of dc and new york and hear that there are 11 planes which have been high jacked. what has been hit in somerset counmty?

Rose's response: A plane went down in Sommerset county - No Survivors. - Still don't have the details.

why would terrorists want pittsburgh?

Rose's response: We believe this plane enroute to SFO was
diverted to DC and crashed in the highjacking.

There were TWO planes highjacked from pittsburgh?

Rose's reponse: Not from PGH - 2 planes flew directly into
the Trade Center in NY.

Do they know where the other one is? Do they think it
is going to hit something else?

Rose's response: Not sure.

Unfortuneately, we are still very unclear as to the why? and Q's. I wish I had more to tell you. Stay safe Miss Maggie.

Send my thoughts to the crew at fedex. I hope
everyone is safe... and stays that way

Maggie

The world has gone crazy. We are safe...so far. They have asked us to not leave the building unless you need to. Most of the people have gone home.

Some details...2 planes crashed into the world trade center in NY around 9:00 am today. Not much later the buildings crashed to the ground. A different plane was highjacked and crashed east of Pgh near Sommerset county. Another plane that took off from PGH - is highjacked and
circling VA. I am still unclear about the pentagon situation.

Please stay safe and God bless you Miss.

This is not the email I wanted to send you.
