She went to work this morning but was evacuated after the first plane hit. She caught the "last PATH train to New Jersey" and came home. She's down at Philip's school right now. I went to the park next to our building, which has an excellent view of the WTC. Saw the first tower come down; took pictures. Then ran upstairs and turned on CNN. Saw the second tower come down on TV. Was very worried for a while because I couldn't get a phone call through to Beth, but she's fine. The phones aren't working here--"all circuits are busy."
