Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was not a good time for me to begin with. My husband & I had just seperated for reason's at that time that where most unknown to me. My daughter & I moved in with my brother & his family. I was totally distraught over the whole seperation. I love my husband more than life itself & the day that he told me he wanted me to leave & he didn't love me anymore, just ripped my heart out. About a week after I moved in with my brother, someone rear ended my brand new truck, causing $10,000.00 worth of damage. I was ok, just whiplash. My husband did not come to my aide. He just called. This was on Sept. 9, 2001. The morning of Sept. 11, 2001, I was getting ready for work. As I was talking to my sister-in-law, we happened to turn our heads to the t.v. & watched as the first plane hit. What the hell is going on, was our words to one another. I thought, this can't be happening, haven't I gone through enough already. I sat unbeleiving & than the second plane hit. I didn't think my heart could sink deeper than it already had. We called my brother on his cell phone. He & my younger brother work for a produce farm & where on their way to New Jersey to make their usual deliveries. He said he could see the smoke from the Thruway. Needless to say they are both volunteer fireman at the Accord Fire Department. They were both o.k. THANK GOD! Our day continued as normal as we could make it. Just a note: my husband & I got back together since then.
