My mom woke me up right when the second plane hit, she then wanted us to stay home to see what will happen, she had to go to work, we watched up to when it fell. I really didnt know what happened till I the History channel and they had a documentary on it. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I had a relative who was a police man in that area, but fortunatly he was not at the towers at that time, it really didnt affect me cause no one i knew died, but it did make me realize we take our freedom for advantage. I believe we shoudlnt forget anything, we should remeber this and be more strict on who comes into this wonderful counrty, our country shouldnt be open to every one, this is one reason why this happened, we allow anyone to come here cause we are such a loving and wonderful country. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, yes I did fly the beautiful Amercan flag, I still have it flying in the front and backyard. I believe I have grown to love this counrty more and who lives here.
