Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: New York is and always has been my favorite place on the planet, I have ( and still do) hope to live out there and evolve as a New Yorker. I will never forget what I saw on that day and watch as "my" city was being distroyed. I was gathering my things to leave for work when I looked at the morning news for the last time when I saw the first building covered in smoke. I had no idea of what was to come next. As I sat to listin for some detail so I could leave I saw a plane dive into the next tower. Confused and in shock I assumed that it had to be some kind of mistake on the part of the captin, he got distracted looking at the smoke and got to close. I would have never thought that it was done on purpose. As I listened and learned fear and sadness shook me to the core. All those people was all I could think about. To know you were going to die, and in such a way made me sink into the last thoughts of those people had on the plane. Straight fear was all I knew for them. The same fear that the families knew that they had. The people in the buildings had the same fear, with the chance of a few servivors to tell the tail. With hope and prayers that we all had watching we all knew that it would not be good. As the New York story got worse the nations military headquarters had been aimed for as well. Thankfully not as may lives were taken, but one was even to many. For the renigades that took control on flight 93 were the first americians to tell terriorist that we are fighters. Fear and strenght of those passingers sacrificed themselves for an unknown amount for people who would have been killed. To all the firemen/women,law inforcement, medical, religous, and other people who gave their lives to try and help can never be replaced or forgotten for the ultimate gift that thay gave. For the servivors and the families of the ones who did not make it home that day, mine along with everyone else who saw that horrific act of cowardace will always be in our thoughts every year for the rest of our lives, a memory that can never be faded or altered in our minds and in our hearts.
